DVD-R and DVD-RW?
I prefer to ask instead of being and ignorant.
I dubbed a video from a VHS tape to a DVD-RW using a JVC combo.
I watched it in a Digital Max dvd recorder and there was no problem.
After about a year, both JVC and D. Max can’t read that burned DVD-RW. However, they both can read burned DVD-Rs.
What could happened? Do you think DVD-R are better than DVD-RW?
I tried Memorex
Which DVD brand do you think is better? Memorex, Maxell, HP, Sony, Phillips, TDK, Staples.
Yes. DVD-Rs are better. The technology that allows something to be written over also allows it to degrade a bit faster. (Imagine pen vs pencil.)
