Field Pea Markets Drift

VANCOUVER - Jan 29/10 - SNS -- International field pea markets continued to drift during the past week, with a weak Canadian dollar allowing exporters to drop asking prices.

This has attracted some buying interest, but many potential customers want to see if there will be further weakness in that currency before entering markets.

India's pulse trade once again painted an optimistic picture of production prospects in that country, though there may be a good chance crops will approach their forecast.
