WINNIPEG - Sep 3/10 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 265,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-10 marketing year.


Limited Harvest Progress in Saskatchewan

VANCOUVER - Sep 2/10 - SNS -- Saskatchewan's harvest inched forward during the past week, with the only 8% of all crops grown in the province, up from 2% last week, but well behind the provincial average of a quarter of the crop in the bin and a quarter ready to combine by the end of August.

KANSAS CITY - Sep 1/10 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 1,750 metric tons (MT) of whole green peas for prepositing in U.S. Gulf ports for eventual shipment as food aid.


CGC Reports Solid July Pea Exports

WINNIPEG - Aug 31/10 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 149,400 metric tons (MT) field pea were exported through licensed terminal facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in July. The CGC data does not include exports in containers or from non-reporting terminals.
