JVC Camcorder

What camcorder do you recommend Sony DCRSR47R or JVC HM200FS ?

Hi!
I am thinking about buying a camcorder but i am hesitating between two.
The Sony Handycam 60Gb HDD camcorder (DCRSR47R)
and the JVC HM200FS HD Flash digital camcorder. I heard they are pretty similar.
I just want a good camcorder with a pretty good quality.
What would be your suggestions??

Thanks

No, the camcorders are not at all similar

Differences are:

The BIGGEST difference is the JVC cam is HD cam. That is its records in High Definition or Full HD 1920×1080 Recording. While the Sony cam is not a HD cam but a SD (standard definition) cam and its video recording resolution is not so high as the JVC one.

Remember, the Sony cam records in HDD (Hard Disk) and the JVC cam in Flash memory. So, the JVC cam is lighter that Sony cam.

I went through both the cam’s specification and I feel if the JVC cam is a much more better buy than the Sony cam. Just check how much GB, flash memory is being provided by the JVC cam. It should have a minimum of 16 GB (included or expandable) to make it a winner. also check how good is JVC service in your country.

Which is the better LCD TV, Sony or JVC & why?
I’m shopping for a 40 inch LCD TV and don’t know which has the better picture, Sony or JVC.

A Sony lcd tv has better picture. This is so because Sony is higher class company and owns a patent for some kind of screen imaging for lcd, that is why it is the best. For a plasma a Panasonic has some patent and it has the best picture.
